I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Everything you want from a bank, none of the stuff you don't.

The bank provides all of the services you need and makes accessing them a pleasure with uncluttered interfaces and simple navigations. On the rare occasion you need support, it's just a click or two away and helpful people actually answer your query and assist you with what you need. As an IT professional in the sector, it gladdened me to be able to switch to a bank with a modern IT system built to modern security standards rather than a veneer of modernity duct-taped to a creaking old legacy as per some of the older names on the highstreet! Not once have I had an unwanted sales call, nor seen an ad for ancillary services (or unrelated ones for that matter) whilst going about my daily banking. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022
