It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. What a relief!

We are pensioners who were allowed more and more credit whilst only making the minimum repayment. We paid more and more interest and had no way to pay off the balance. Luckily a family member told us about Stepchange. Their staff were very kind and didn't make us feel embarrassed. They advised with regard to budgeting and negotiated with the creditors and we are now almost debt free. If only we had known about their help sooner! Reviewed on: 13th August 2022

Step Changed saved me.

I found myself with an unexpected and huge, unmanageable debt. Step Change listened, didn't judge, gave me reassuring advice and options I could chose from to address my situation. I was not sleeping, I was stressed by continuous calls and daily letters from the companies and felt scared and was worried sick. My debt remains huge and I will be paying it for many years to come however; with Step Change's ongoing professional help and support, in small affordable payments.
