Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Everyone on the team are very helpful and put your mind at ease and give you the best advise possible to put your mind at ease. Once everything was in place it put your mind at ease and they keep in touch all the time at regular intervals and making sure that you can afford to pay the debts off comfortably. Amazing costumer care

Stepchange helped me when I needed it most

Stepchange helped me get out of a very difficult situation where I didn't see a way out. I reached out to the charity when I was at the point of being unable to pay my debts. They talked me through my options, were non-judgemental and contacted each of my creditors to agree a plan.
