Without Step Change I don't know where I would be right now. Thank you Step Change for taking away the worry, helping me to work out my budget and know exactly where I am. StepChange saved me

I was scared to deal with my debts. I was ashamed of the mess I had gotten myself into. I was able to get support at every stage to set up a Debt Management Plan and they used their trustworthy reputation to convince my creditors this was the way to go. Stepchange has always given me complete support to my financial hardship

I had an operation and was off work for a few months. I owed a large amount of money to credit cards and could not afford the monthly payment because I was only on SSP. I was recommended by a friend to seek help from Stepchange. After doing so I felt very relieved, as all the pressure, worry and anxiety had been taken away. All my money every month was going on paying back my credit cards, I had no job and didn’t know what to do. Looking through the internet I came across Step Change & contacted them. After completing a budget plan with their help everything suddenly felt easier & clearer. I still had the debt but now I had a way forward.
