Debt relief.

Stepchange helped me when I was almost out of my mind with worry over a debt. They helped in a practical and realistic way by assessing the amount I could sensibly repay and assessing on an annual basis my financial circumstances and adjusting the amount where necessary. A great relief after speaking to SC.

I was getting myself properly in a mess emotionally. But was encouraged by somebody to contact Step Change which I did. With their support and guidance I was able to negotiate a DMP and as much as I feel ashamed for getting into debt I know I am working my way out of it with their help. Saved my life

Not an exaggeration to say they saved my life. I was in a really desperate place, my debts were spiralling out of control, I felt isolated and ashamed and didn't know how to get out, I was at the point of having suicidal thoughts. Taking the step to call step change really changed my life. They were caring and non judgemental. They guided me through my options and supported me in getting my DMP set up. The first 12 months were tough, but the relief was unmeasured. I'm now in my last year of DMP, and I can not wait to move forward debt free and feeling much more positive about the future. Thank you!
