Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Life Savers

I received excellent support and good advice when my circumstances changed. My creditors were not helpful, but Step Change really helped. Their support really helped me practically to set my DMP up, financially, but also mentally as I went from being worried, frightened and upset, to feeling like me again. Step Change

I had Covid -19 and was on Hospital for 8 days.I was also on dept and could not work during that bad Tim that I was going through. Step Change helped me get all my debts sorted out. Helpful,friendly, fantastic

Previously we were with another company,told we would be clear about 6years ,never missed a payment but after 9years were told it would be another 9 years .so I rang step change they told me 2more years,then clear . Peace of mind

Set up a DMP two years ago. Now I don’t have any creditors hounding me for money. I simply pay Stepchange each month and they decide the amount between my creditors and take away the worry and stress for me. Would highly recommend if your struggling and need relief from your worries. I didn’t know who to turn to and I buried my head in the sand for years and had dent from two previous relationships.
