Step Change helped me to take control of my debts, and to take control of my life again.

I was over £12,000 in debt when I first contacted StepChange. They clearly explained what was possible and what they could do to help me. They explained the choices available to me and helped me choose the right one based on my situation. At the end of my call, I was no longer overwhelmed with worry or fear about how I would be able to manage my debts. I felt at peace, and also felt a sense of relief. Once the initial contact is out off the way, you can trust Step Change to be there for you and act as a go-between you and your creditors, always happy to assist if your situation needs modifying and very professional. Saved my life

My mind at rest.

admitting I was in debt, made me feel a failure. After contacting Step Change, I spoke to a calm kind gentleman. He didn't judge me. He sounded like he really cared and wanted to help me. I have finally managed to budget. I still have 3 years until I am debt free, however I am grateful to Step Change, helping me through a very stressful situation.
