The greatest help you need when your in financial trouble

When I found myself in financial trouble I didn’t no what to do I was so worried that I was thinking of taking my life I just couldn’t handle the trouble I was in really I’m not proud to say that but I just didn’t no what to do Then I was told about stepchange oh my good god the put my brain at ease told me to carm down & we can work through this yes I do feel ashamed of my debt & I want to pay back what I owed I just could not believe that there was charities like this out there I’ve never been so relieved of how they put me to rest I’m now paying back my debts at a arrange payment that I can handle & if I carnt make a payment & start getting worried about things I ring them up & the friendly people at the end of the phone help me come to some kind of agreement I’ve never been so relieved in my life I’m so glad of stepchange help I could never say thank you enough basically they saved my life really & I never new there was charities out there like this just thank you so much from the bottom of my heart... I personally would do anything I could to help them in rasing any funds to help them survive as they do not get any help from the government not a penny they all give up there spare time to help people like me ..... Should have contacted sooner

I was in a very dark place with my debts and not facing up to the problems we had, I felt i was alone and had noone to talk to. After speaking to Stepchange they helped so much and we have now been our plan for 6 months and its nice seeing i am making progress with the level of debt reducing. I should have called them sooner. The process was very easy and the advisers I spoke to on the phone didn't judge me. I have learnt now to manage my money better. Thank you Reviewed on: 10th July 2020

Took My Fear Away

I had struggled for months and my stress and fear were through the roof, within a few sentences, Stepchange took that all away.. Very easy to talk too and totally non unjudgemental.. They very quickly assessed what my problem was, and a plan was set into place. When people find themselves in a position where they debt problems, every day is a nightmare and the brain becomes fuddled, Stepchange very efficiently explained everything clearly to me and in a way that seemed achievable..
