Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

An amazing company that has helped and support us through very difficult times with our dept. management plan

Step Change have always been professional and supportive too both my husband and I when we found ourselves deep in dept. and we didn't know where to turn. Step Change are none judgemental and they worked out a plan that was fair too all our creditors. Its no exaggeration to say with their help and support we can now sleep at night. A life changing organisation

I was struggling with 16 grand of debt - robbing Peter to pay Paul every month and stressed beyond belief. I found stepchange who helped me deal wit all my debts and set up an affordable payment plan. This month I make my final payment and will be completely debt free for the first time since I was a teenager - I am now 52.
