Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Fantastic .

Not judgmental. So helpful and patient on the phone, when you don’t have all the information to hand. Felt like a huge weight had been lifted after dealing with them I have spoken to several advisors I’ve a period. They are all consistent in their manner and attitude to help. Help beyond help

Simple, Friendly, Free

It's easy to set up, the staff are friendly & not judgemental, the online portal is easy to use. I've been a member for years & have always been happy with the service. Dmp

Went on a dmp with Stepchange and their services have been great they make it easy to go debt free and I can always talk to their customer services if I have a query , so far I have halved my debt in just under a year , looking forward to being debt free thanks to Stepchange!!!
