Turned my life around

We were struggling with debt after a business went bust and did not know what to do. Our mortgage people and bank were no help at all and I thought we would have to sell everything including our house and were facing a very bleak situation. A friend suggested calling step change to see if they could help and after 1 phone call we could see could see a way forward. Peace of Mind

I became unemployed after 47 years without any break in employment. I found myself with out a job at the age of 64 and still had two outstanding loans which I had not missed one payment on. Once I was on Universal Credit I was told about Step Change and how they may help, From my first phone call to now a year on they have been a real support and have managed to set up a DMP which has been a massive help not only to my creditors but my state of health.
