Changed our lives forever

My husband and I can’t thank Stepchange enough. We owed £37k and had fallen into depression because we couldn’t see a way out. In need of help and they were there

Due to the Covid pandemic, my employer of 13 years gave me the choice of redundancy or minimum wage and a zero hour contract. The drop was too dramatic and as my career experience was in hospitality it didn’t seem viable to stay in the industry with all the restrictions. I changed career but have had to start form the first run of the ladder again. My debt was too much for me to afford due to the drop in salary.
