Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Amazing Customer Service

Step Change has literally changed my life for the better & has helped me take control of my finances. I no longer feel depressed about my financial situation & because of their help, acting on my behalf to my creditors, I can finally sleep at night knowing that they are always there to offer support when needed. They have literally been a breath of fresh air over the past few years & I am now able to pay off my debt accordingly & still live comfortably. My son now sees his mum smiling alot more, rather than crying about the pressures of life. The feeling is night & day. Thank you Step Change for your amazing & dedicated service. My financial saviour!

I really didn’t know how I was going to resolve my debt situation as I was paying ridiculously high minimum payments and had basically spent myself to a standstill. StepChange were recommended to me and the only thing I regret is not getting in touch with them sooner. 5 star, help me thrust bad times

I fell into a very big hole, the company I worked for hadn’t paid me for two alternative months , I got behind in my payments and couldn’t dig myself out of the hole.
