Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

IF YOUR IN DEBT YOU WON'T REGRET JUST PHONE STEPCHANGE

Was in real trouble with my debit cards and loans, I built up enough courage to phone STEPCHANGE and they helped me in one one,set up a dept management plan with all my debts totally amazing, brilliant staff friendly and helpful, take my advice don't hesitate, if your in dept phone STEPCHANGE the one phone call you won't regret making..... Step Change review

Step Change have helped me with budgeting and organising repayments. I’m finding it difficult to monitor by outstanding credit card balances as some lenders are transferring debts to other debt agencies. I was so overwhelmed and feeling really stressed as I just couldn’t afford to pay all my debts each month. I was borrowing from family and having to pay them back each month when I got paid, but was stuck in this cycle for over a year before someone suggested I contact Stepchange. Setting up the payment plan was easy because the people you speak to are so helpful and offer great advice about how you can budget to make payments and still have money to live.
