customer service is an absolute nightmare

It’s good, however their customer service is an absolute joke. You need to stay on the phone for hours just to get through to speak with someone. I was yelled at by their employees because they couldn’t understand my problem. Tried contacting them through emails, and apparently they aren’t trained to provide advice through writing. Amazing support and no judgement

What was a very stressful time, the support was incredible. I didn’t feel like I was being judged, or that I had done something wrong, I felt understood and suppprted. Weight off shoulders

Had a lot of joint debt following a marital separation. StepChange were incredible at helping to understand the full scope of what was outstanding, collate and organise that information into a very easy to understand budget, plan and ultimately begin working to get this under control. This included speaking to the creditors on my behalf to negotiate repayment terms and it's been a huge weight off my shoulders to have this in place, knowing every month my debts are reducing significantly.
