Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Such a positive experience

I was so apprehensive about seeking dept help. I chose Step Change because I was able to email and apply online rather than speak with someone at first. Everything was so straight forward. I have now phoned and spoken with a few advisors and every single person has been so lovely and extremely helpful. Reviewed on: 17th June 2021

Thet take away all the worry and negotiate with Businesses on your behalf to agree a suitable plan and I can relax

Their staff are the real deal ,so kind,helpful and know their role. They put your mind at ease and send regular statements to let you know your debt is refucing and how. If a client is giving yiu aggro they adapt and deal with that company . They are the best and if I am upset put me at ease and deal with a issue. Simply the best. Reviewed on: 17th June 2021
