Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

I was embarrassed and ashamed of the situation I had gotten myself into.StepChanged listened without judgement and provided empathic guidance that has turned my life around. I felt like I had no where to turn, until someone me...

I felt like I had no where to turn, until someone mentioned step change and they have helped me massively I can now have no worries of repaying debt back to more than one company, having stepchange literally do all the working out for you, you just need to be honest on what you spend your money on, I have an affordable payment each month and no money worries now. I sleep better, anxiety and worries have gone - really wouldn’t know where i’d be if I hadn’t had taken the first step to contact stepchange, everything is on line, u can view your payments etc and the customer service is exceptional Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Best debt management company !

I absolutley could not recommend stepchange enough! It gave me my life back . My mental state is improving and I have a feeling of hope again. The advisers are always really helpful , understanding and respectful. And extremely professional . I always get correct information and a right advice . I felt like I was drowning in my debt and that there's no way out for me . My mental health and physical health suffered so much , but since my debt management plan comes into place I feel I'm free and I have control and way out .
