Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

I’m so thankful

When we bought our house everything that needed doing was thrown on a credit card to “deal with another day” but things kept coming and the day never came to deal with them. I was drowning in my debts and didn’t know where to turn. I thankfully found StepChange who literally helped me to take the steps to change my life. I could not survive dealing with my creditors both financially and mentally. Their professional approach and making an affordable arrangement is what one need when pressure excel.
