Stepchange helped me turn my life around.

Stepchange helped me turn my life around. It was literally a life saver. I went from not even opening post that might be a bill to tackling my debts head on. It’s taken a few years but watching how much I owe come down from nearly £50k to being a few months away from debt free is THE BEST feeling in the world. Debt without Stress

I was very stressed about my financial commitments and the Step Change counsellor talked me through all aspects and gave me good solid advice which had made me a lot less stressed. I turned to Stepchange as I waa with another Debt Management company who were charging me £50 pr month for their administration cost.. Since being with Stepchange since 2009, they have helped me tremendously guiding me and helped me in facing my debt in a honest way.. I now have just over£1,000 from a £30,000 debt and was advised I will be debt free by the end of 2026. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
