Excellent advice and support

StepChange gave me excellent advice and short term support, whilst applying for an IVA. It took some time and sacrifices over several years to get rid of my problem debt. But it was all worth it, and started with the brilliant help initially from StepChange and the supportive online help and useful newsletters. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Professional, very understanding and empathetic about my situation, non-judgmental and excellent at listening. Really helped to reduce level of shame and stigma around financial issues and eased a lot of stress and anxiety and made things more manageable.
