It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I was in a cross road and confused about my debts.

I was in a cross road and confused about my debts. I was informed about this charity from an old experience a friend had. It was easy to contact them and after an initial appointment, I was accepted and I was assigned a case worker. This person helped me to set up a debt management plan free of charge. Take the step to change your life.

Everyone I spoke to were calm, understanding and reassuring - particularly appreciated as I was going through a major life event at the time. Every step was clearly explained and they have been on hand since to help with follow up queries and difficult problems. A Relief to have someone else deal with my creditors.

Difficult to get initial contact by phone, but once registered have been very helpful. Developing budget was useful & once payment plan set up, Creditors left me alone. A relief to see a plan in place & to see debt reducing all be it slowly Reviewed on: 28th May 2025
