It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. When you think all is lost talk to Stepchange

I lost my career after covid . I had a great standard of living . Then nothing ! Stepchange helped me through a very tough time and I have moved on now and am mentally in a much better place . Reviewed on: 27th May 2025

Amazing results

Amazing service was so much in debt but Step Change were unbelieveable not judgemental patronising or in anyway negative. After a few weeks the calls stopped letters stopped. A light at the end of the tunnel

When I first contacted Stepchange I was extremely worried about the credit card debt I owed, and I had been recently bereaved. The information I was given enabled me to choose the best way of recovering from a bleak situation. From despair to hope

The hardest part is asking for help .You feel as if you have let yourself down as well as everyone else . You feel as if nobody can help & you don't know who to turn to . When I was given the number for StepChange , it took a while to pluck up courage to dial the number. I expected to be judged , told I was a failure . But how wrong was I . It became clear in a few seconds that the person on the other end of the phone wanted to help . It was the best phone call I have ever made .
