StepChange Debt advice reviews (14718)

Great service .

Due to redundancy and a bereavement I found myself in financial difficulty. I didn’t know where to turn I was embarrassed to be in this situation and was in a very dark place. After contacting step change and receiving their help I am less anxious and feel that I can carry on knowing my debts are being sorted and no one is going to come knocking on my door. They have answered all my questions and dealt with both my creditors which is a great weight off my shoulders. I can’t thank them enough. Reviewed on: 2nd May 2024

One of the best companies to exist

It still amazes me how a company like StepChange exists in todays world! A FREE service that is only after one thing - to help you clear your debt in a sensible and straight forward way. It is one of the most wonderful companies I've ever worked with, supporting me to set up a DMP to pay off my debt. Without StepChange, I don't know who else I would have approached for help. Lifesaver

I got myself in a complete financial mess due to mental health problems. I was being harrassed by banks daily and it was destroying me. My mum suggested having a look at StepChange. The best descision I ever made! Everything was done online, every time I've contacted them they have been incredibly helpful and reply within a day or so. I haven't been contacted by any banks in a few years now which has allowed me to recover and get my life back on track. If you're having financial problems, please contact StepChange! Stop taking the ostrich approach

As a person who would normally bury their head in the sand and try and ignore debt, hoping the debt fairies would take it away, I have found StepChange to be a breath of fresh air. They have offered me the support needed to retake control of my debts in a manageable way.
