It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I went to a dark place and didn't know what to do with the debts so just ignored the letters and demands I was receiving thinking wrongly if I kept paying the minimum things would be OK, and in the end this didnt work as the minimum payment incurred interest, so had to seek help and found stepchange who helped me by giving me a way to pay so that the balances owed didn't increase. StepChange appeared in my life at a very dark time. The more I got in debt the more I borrowed. I searched ‘debt management’ and came across StepChange. From the start they were kind but efficient, helped me with a budget and finally I can breathe again. I’ve just 10 more payments to make which seemed inconceivable at the start.
