No hassle no judgment help

Step change help us sort ourselves out without any fuss or judgement. They explained all the details and options and helped us follow through our plan. Also explained how to desk with the creditors. Fantastic service showing us "light at the end of the tunnel ". Reviewed on: 9th June 2021

This was literally life and death for me.

I was at a really bad and critical point in my life, where my wages were just covering my debt payments. I wasn't able to feed my family properly,I couldn't clothes my kids, we couldn't have any nice family days together and I could barely afford petrol to get them to school. I turned to Step Change and asked for help, which for me in itself is a massive thing, I hate asking for help.But they were truly amazing! There is no judgement at all. I wasn't embarrassed in the slightest. They went through everything step by step and worked out an affordable repayment scheme and they dealt with all my creditors. From time to time I receive correspondence from the people I am in debt to, and I forward that on to Step Change and they deal with contacting them for me. I honestly could not recommend them any less. They truely have saved my life and I feel good for paying off my debts, one bit at a time. Nearly 2 years in now, a few more to go, but I am more confident in my financial situation then I have ever been. Thank you Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Life changer

I was £50k in debt mainly credit cards built up over years. I cannot thank STEP CHANGE enough. Created a Debt Management Plan for me, contacted my 11 creditors, agreed affordable pay back amounts, now all chasing calls have stopped. I can actually sleep at night again. I was frightened, and no longer able to function

I was frightened, and no longer able to enjoy any aspest of my life, my debts had completely taken over, I did not believe any solution could be found, put in place and actioned.
