I felt I was loosing my grip on our finances after s...

I felt I was loosing my grip on our finances after suffering four major setbacks in a row. Panic doesn’t go far enough to explain how I felt. Then I talked to Stepchange and everything changed, they helped with friendly, non judgemental, advice and support. Suddenly we were in calmer waters, the “switching off” of the constant creditor phone calls and letters gave me time to workout a sensible budget with Stepchange and to feel I was taking back control. I dread to think what would have happened if we hadn’t found Stepchange, I couldn’t have managed without them. Stepchange gave me a lifeline

I didn’t know what options were available to me. I’d got too much into debt and with all my bills going up I couldn’t afford the repayments. Step change guided me through everything, contacted my creditors and helped me agree an affordable repayment plan.
