Life saving debt management charity

This charity absolutely saved my life after I found myself in unmanageable debt. They took all the details of my incoming and outgoings and amount of debt and suggested the solution of a debt management plan. They dealt directly with my creditors for me so I didn't have to do a thing and I'll be debt free next year! Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Help when I had no-one to turn to

I was at a very difficult period of my life and didn't know where to turn. An internet search yielded StepChange and it couldn't have been easier to deal with them. Helpful, friendly and non-judgemental advisors who set up my plan. The phone lines are often busy but you do get monthly updates and an online portal to check your status. I contacted StepChange for support at the time that I had no hope of carrying on in life due to a huge debton me and couldn't find my way out.
