Don’t be embarrassed to ask!

I have always had a lot of help from Step change.

I have always had a lot of help from Step change. They have helped me a lot over these past 8 years. They are very friendly and help you feel at ease, despite having debt problems. They helped me to set up a budget and I have got my debts down. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

I was desperate

I was so depressed about my debt, I was having trouble sleeping, my brain was constantly anxious. And just speaking with them, took some of the stress away. Once my DAS was arranged I could breath again, it was such a relief. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Five years on

I was first put in touch with stepchange in August 2020 holding 78000.00 of debt on credit cards. The interest on 18 cards had surpassed my income for many months and my life was not a life at all . Once stepchange were involved I really did get a life back once the letters and calls stopped and I was able to keep in touch with stepchange on a regular basis . I still have a way to go but with stepchange help I have no worries or sleepless nights any more . Couldn’t possibly thank them enough , I’ll be forever grateful, thank you .
