I really had got myself into trouble with money.

I really had got myself into trouble with money. I was living off of credit for day to day living. I didn't think I had anywhere to turn to. Then I stumbled across stepchange. It took a while for me to go with them. Then I rang them and it was the best decision I've ever made. I will have payed off all my debt in November this year. So happy and relieved. Loss of a partner

I recently lost my partner and we had a joint account with stepchange. They were very helpful and sympathetic with my situation and paused my account for three months so i could have a break and get things sorted. Relaxed conversation with all assistants. Took me from panic to “at ease” quite quickly. Simple instructions with common sense advice.
