I got into a little bit of a problem with my credit cards and I approached Stepchange and they got me the right solution of a debt management plan, I can now rest easy knowing that bailiffs wont be knocking on my door. Lifeline

I ended up in debt and heavy borrowing due to my wife’s mental illness. The stress was affecting every part of my life. I contacted Stepchange and they basically threw me a lifeline. They organised my repayments and froze any action from my creditors. I have been able to control the budget in regards to every day life and also the repayments. Everything is online and communicating with Stepchange is brilliant. I have now been with Stepchange for about 6 months and been able to keep my head above water. I have a clear plan and making headway into paying all of my debts off. Thank you to everyone at Stepchange. I must add that every time I called them, there was always a non judgemental person on the other end of the phone and they were very supporting and sympathetic. Helped with my debts

I joined step change last year & they combined all my debts with one monthly payment I managed to do all this online as I struggle to speak to people on the phone I manage to email them with any problems I have it can take sometime to get an email back but still sorts my issue out thank you step change help that is free is amazing they definitely deserve an award Reviewed on: 23rd July 2023
