Absolute heroes

StepChange have literally been my knights in shining armor. I was in a bad place after maxing credit cards and store cards paying minimum payments on everything. I recently had a child and this added to the pressure on my finances. I was burying my head in the sand trying to juggle everything alone before I finally had to reach out for help. They have helped me take the stress sout of juggling multiple companies, 1 point of contact has made things far less stressful. Also getting all interest stopped on my account with their help has been incredible. They have helped me manage my debts and I am nearly debt free. Given me a very poor credit score.

Although I had accumulated a lot of debt I always made sure my bills were paid on time, this kept my credit score good but I struggled with day to day cost of living. I did not realise that using stepchange would create late payments and my credit scare is very poor. This worries me when I have to renew this year. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

No More Sleepless Nights

I had so many sleepless nights worrying about finances and debt before I reached out to Step Change and they helped me so much with working out my budget in easy to understand steps. Best thing I did

Just never been in this position.

Just never been in this position before and so it was really scary and I thought I would be judged… but I was put at ease and not to be made to look like a failure as I do want to pay everyone and at this late stage in my life I never wanted to be here and StepChange took all the worries away and sorted everything out for me.
