Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Just fantastic!

I have found Stepchange in all honesty life changing. When I first made the call to them I did not know what to expect, but the person I spoke to was so helpful and non-judgemental. It really put my mind at ease. I have always found the people at the end of the phone so helpful and reassuring. Being in debt can feel so worrying and overwhelming and sometimes lonely and scary. It was really good to feel like someone was helping me make sense of everything and feel manageable. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of going to Stepchange to just do it. Mounting debt

Had several mounting debts which I wasn’t coping with, a friend suggested Stepchange. I got in contact and they were very helpful and don’t rush you to do anything. There is a way out of debt
