Outstanding support

Earlier this year I left an abusive relationship, I was lost, I was ashamed, I didn’t know where to turn. The embarrassment of the economic abuse made me feel like I was to blame so for many months I struggled trying to pay back loans I’d not taken. When I finally realised I needed help I was referred to step change. They listened, they understood and for the first time I felt like I wasn’t being judged. They took the time to go over my options. Excellent help given

I had put off seeking help, my sister encouraged me to make the first move. I have not looked back since. Really helped us out of a hole

Being young and having trouble settling into work my now wife and I racked up around 15k in debt. Once I started earning more money and accepted that we needed help and I contacted Stepchange; they have supported us every step of the way no matter what hurdles have come up.
