Stepchange are an amazing charity and have really help me feel that I am on top of my debts. It took me a long time to contact them, as I was feeling so low and embarrassed to be in the position I was in, owing so much money. I’m so pleased that I contacted them, they helped me put together a plan that I have been able to comfortably manage for over a year. The whole process has been so simple and so reassuring. When I have called to speak to someone the staff have always been so understanding, helpful and completely non judgemental. After going through a divorce and things got a bit too much, step change were recommended by a friend and they really helped alleviate the repayments of the debt I had built up due to this. They have been extremely helpful to make it affordable and to ensure I can still live, enjoy a little and manage what I can to repay what is comfortable for me.
