Non-judgmental, friendly but businesslike.

I'm relieved that, although I still have debts, they are being managed in a sustainable and stress-free way. I didn't want to be or anticipate being in debt when I retired but at least there is now some light at the end of the tunnel. Supportive and informative advice. Exceptional service.

I went to StepChange when I was right at the point of disaster after a change in circumstances. The person I spoke to talked through my options and recommended debt management, and said I was entitled to Breathing Space which was a godsend. I am now almost 3 years into my plan and it has changed my life so much. I can afford to live again without the constant fear which was making me quite ill. I cannot thank them enough for their help. Step Change gives a way out of debt misery.

Step Change is a company that took all the pressure out of financial mess I had accumulated in a acrimonious divorce, without step change these creditors would have continued to threaten and bullied me into my downward debt spiral. Their help and guidance replaced dread with positivity that I was not the only one and things will get better, although still in debt, I do not feel helpless, well done StepChange. There is a light at the end of the tunnel

From completing the required forms to discussing my whole situation, Stepchange changed my whole outlook from a situation I thought I could not get out of.
