StepChange helped to give me back my life

I turned to StepChange as a last resort to sorting out my hideous debts, after separating from my ex-husband. They were very helpful and understanding; organised Breathing Space with all my debtors and helped me to work out what I could comfortably afford to pay off each month. I have been able to pay more when I could and pay less when times were harder. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Superb service delivered with compassion

I was in a state of very poor mental health when I first contacted StepChange (with the help of my friend). The advisors were compassionate, very helpful and clearly well trained in dealing with clients with mental health difficulties.
