Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Literally saved my life

Literally saved my life, I got myself into a total mess with cards and loans, it has got to the point we’re suicide felt like my only way out. But one call to stepchange and they got everything sorted in half an hour. Within thirty minutes my life went from “this is the end” to there’s a solution and I can afford to eat again. Step Change was a god send for mr

People always don’t fall into debt due to financial mismanagement! One year I went into total debt default due to lack of work availability in my job and Step Change was my saviour in creating a management plan for all my unpaid debts and manage repayments .and manage all my payments .
