Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Easy to complete the on-line assessment. The advice received was clear and informative, any questions I had were answered quickly & efficiently. DMP was quickly put in place & I was kept up to date with proceedings. The website is easy to use to keep up to date with how your plan is working. Step change were the best thing to ever happen to me,in my darkest hours of feeling like there's no way out, you showed me the way., From my first call I felt like a weight had been lifted, hope for a future being dept free.if you stick with their advice and follow for as long as it takes you will come out the other side.Fifteen years I remember starting thinking I would never get to the end.I have and you can to, trust step change and start your journey to a dept free future today.
