You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

The app has a lot of good information and is pleasing to the eye but is a little too busy and can be difficult to navigate. Having access to a team of mortgage brokers and other professionals is great and the advice we got was really helpful. Customer service over the phone was fantastic but follow up emails have been a bit curt. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

My favourite of the top 2 LISA providers

Tembo consistently has one of the highest if not the highest interest rate on their LISA, and didn't randomly switch my provider like another leading LISA provider did. I like the app and being able to see my interest earned on a daily basis. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Incredible service by amazing people

Tembo is incredibly accessible.

TEMBO's user interface is incredibly accessible. It's my first time using a LISA, or any ISA at all, and the accessibility has really helped me. They have areas on their app that explain in simple terms how it all works. It's really smooth and I've had no issues. I'm towards the end of my LISA limit and they adjusted my next payment automatically, which is very helpful. I also really enjoy and appreciate their regular updates via email about what's going on in the economy, usually to do with the budgets. Their writers are very knowledgable and again, they write in terms that a normal person can understand.
