You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Tembo LISA

I have been saving with Tembo using their lifetime ISA. It was easy to set up and the app is easy to use. I like that it sends you notifications when government bonus or interest has been paid. There are a lot of features the app provides to help you make/reach a saving goal and lots of useful advice about buying your first home and mortgage help. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2026

Good service, could improve offer clarity

Good mortgage broker call. Interest rates are low after the introductory offer. Different mortgage bonus offers are confusing to understand as they are paid differently. An example of the monetary implications of each would be good. E.g. if you had £100 this is what the offer would mean if put towards mortgage compared to the original LISA offer for mortgage.
