You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Tembo have been amazing from the start.

Tembo have been amazing from the start. As first time buyers with no knowledge Olivia guided us through the process and kept in touch with us throughout the whole time. No question was too silly and she was always so warm and considerate on the calls! Chelsea, Amy and Rebecca all kept us up to date with the progress of our application without us even needing to chase! Overall a great experience! I would highly recommend! Good experience with tembo

Set up an account for a lifetime isa and tembo was simple to use and has the best rate on the market as well as a functional app with good intergration to helpneith getting a mortgage. Easy app, relevant info, awesome customer service

The Tembo app is so easy to use – getting started is effortless. I love how simple it is to check my progress, and the monthly emails letting me know when my interest has landed are a great touch. The newsletters are also really useful, keeping me updated on changes in laws around LISAs and mortgages, without all the confusing political mumbo jumbo. I’ve made use of customer care once when I had issues receiving my OTP, and that too was friendly, efficient and on-point! Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
