You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Competitive rates and a variety of valuable support

Not only does Tembo provide incredibly competitive interest rates on savings in addition to the 25% government bonus, but it also has a variety of support for its Lifetime ISA customers. It helps account holders to set a goal for their savings by allowing them to research within the service itself the average house prices in a given area as well as select their desired number of bedrooms and the type of property they are interested in (detached, semi-detached, terraced, etc) to further narrow down an even more precise goal to aim for with their savings. Additionally, it also has a blog which includes financial advice, and there is a tool within the app which allows the user to research mortgage properties and speak directly with mortgage advisors. Overall, Tembo's Lifetime ISA is an incredibly high quality service which is definitely a good choice for anyone looking to save for a mortgage on their first property.
