You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Long term, and user friendly

After researching all different accounts to open a LISA, Tembo had the best AER for the long term and the app is really easy to use. Setting up the account was simple and quick and with adding money to the account the process is really easy and feels very secure Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

I use Tembo's LISA and cash isa. The on-boarding was smooth and easy to setup. I like the UI of the app too, very intuitive and use friendly. Finally the interest rates that Tembo offers is one of the best ones out there. Overall I am a very satisfied Tembo customer. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Transparency & Informative.

Clear communication when it comes rate changes, but have plenty of incentives to invite friends and be rewarded. Haven't had any issue with my LISA or cash ISA. They also write up helpful guides and explain market changes in easy to understand details. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
