You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Very satisfied with my experience

I was very happy with Tembo as a LISA provider, for their interest rate and the couple of times I had to contact their customer service during the purchase of my first home. I use Tembo for LISA and Cash ISA, because it was the best interest rate offer at the time for me compared to other banks, that also offers an easy set up and user interface. I haven’t yet used mortgage advice but for general queries they’ve been helpful! Feature full and best rates

Been saving for a Lifetime ISA. I like how I can me and my partner can both save into our own accounts, and we can combine out savings. The tracker is great too. The emails are not too much, and they are useful, talking about parliament decisions that can affect the ISA, so are really good to know. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
