You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Lifetime isa

Very easy app to use and great for keeping track of your savings, would recommend to anyone looking for a lifetime ISA but haven’t tried any other accounts yet. No complaints at all to report and can’t fault it Reviewed on: 19th March 2026

Excellent

Tembo allows me to put money aside each month and adds to that. It also has the opportunity to pause your monthly payments if you have a tight few months. Myself and my partner were able to link our accounts also which is good as we are saving to buy our first home. Reviewed on: 18th March 2026
