You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Excellent for Young Professionals and First-Time Buyers

The Tembo app is aesthetically pleasing, simple to use, deposit money and really encourages saving - the learning section offers a range of great advice for young professionals and first time buyers. The customer service I have received has been excellent and the CEO doesn’t hide away from explaining decisions. Tembo’s email communications (unlike others) are not overwhelming and hits the right note between nice to know and need to know. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
