You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

I switched to a LISA and Cash ISA

I switched to a LISA and Cash ISA and was very happy with how things were explained and the customer service offered. Security concerns over logging in were explained and addressed. The interest rates are excellent overall and not based on temporary bonuses, which takes the worry out of constantly looking to switch away. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

Tembo has it all and does it all.

Tembo has it all and does it all. The app is great for tracking your goal of buying a house and finding average prices in your area. They run webinars to understand the lead up and process of buying a house. They even have their own mortgage advisers who are free to use! Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

My experience has been perfect

My experience cannot be faulted. I initially chose to use Tembo for my lifetime ISA based on them providing the highest interest rate, hence helping my deposit grow the fastest. However, my positive experience is now focussed on the in app experience. For example, user friendly tracking processes that help me gauge when I will have enough of a deposit for my desired property value. I am yet to have an issue with the app so I have had no reason to use the customer services, which can only be viewed as positive. I recommend Tembo to all of my younger family and family friends in preparation for when they turn 18 and start to use a LISA. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026
