You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

App user-interface & mortgage advice service

The user interface of the app is super user-friendly and is self-intuitive. I have also used the mortgage advice service which I have found super helpful. Throughout both calls, the agent has been very knowledgeable and they have been able to answer all our questions. The after call service has also been great, with regular follow ups to support our house buying journey. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Tembo is great!

Tembo make saving so easy - their app is intuitive and user friendly, they have engaging articles on a range of topics like savings, mortgages and steps to consider when buying your first home. They now offer more products too which is fab, and any and all interactions I’ve had with their customer service have been responsive and helpful - nothing but good things to say!
