You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

So easy to keep track of your savings

Since opening a Lifetime ISA, it’s been so easy keeping track of where me and my partner are at in our saving journey, especially because we can link our accounts and see our total. We also love the borrowing tool, and being able to set a specific budget for a house, as well as setting what kind of house we are looking for and in which area and then seeing the average house price. Best interest rates on market for LISA

Best interest rates on market for LISA, very easy to setup and move money into. Just be warned that doing a one off payment can trigger communication that makes you think you've setup a direct debit when you haven't. Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Top Base Rate!

My favourite thing about Tembo is that the base rate is higher than with other providers of the LISA. Yes some of them might have higher opening interest rates but soon these drop off to low rates which Tembo beats! Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Good money saving app

The app is easy to follow and a motivating concept. You are able to link the app to your partner which allows you to see the combined amount out of the goal. This can be tricky to do but once it’s done it’s a game changer. The app allows for friends/family to deposit money straight into your Tembo! Reviewed on: 9th March 2026
