Amazing for my first time buyer mortgage

I used Tembo for my mortgage, as a first time buyer I was totally new to the process, Tembo was amazing from the very first point of contact, they made the process easy and explained and answered all my questions and queries fast and in a way that I understood. Would definitely recommend Matt and Elly!

I had a fantastic and friendly experience with Matt and Elly, who looked after me over a very long process, and helped me to secure a home when other brokers had near laughed me out of the door! Other companies I had spoken to prior either would not consider me because I had credit, or were impossible to speak to and left me waiting for weeks. Matt at Tembo gave me fair consideration and helped guide me to address what was needed to be to find a lender. He was always quick to respond to any questions or queries and afterwards Elly kept me informed at crucial moments. I would highly recommend the Tembo team as they have been great and are really lovely people who will try to help. Would use again

I heard about Tembo through a work partnership and i can see why we use their services at a professional and personal level. The level of detail and customer service i received last year when sourcing my first time buyer mortgage was great and second to none. I received other free quotes from other brokers but they were same or worst meaning i was already in good hands with Tembo as my first choice for mortgage broker. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

Made the impossible, possible

Wonderful team, even when it wasn’t possible for me to get a montage they went through all my information and told me your not quite ready go away and achieve xyz and come back. Fast forward a couple of years and I went back with everything and they got me the best mortgage deal on the market, not only that working with them on each stage of the process was effortless, professional and friendly.
